How to download Aadhaar card online? This is the easiest way

The Aadhaar Card, issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), is one of the most crucial identity documents for Indian citizens. Whether you need it for government schemes, opening a bank account, tax filing, or as proof of residence, your Aadhaar card plays a vital role in various official processes.

How to Download Your Aadhaar Card Online

  • At this point, Download Aadhaar Using Aadhaar Number
  • Step 1: Go to UIDAI official page and click on “My Aadhaar” > “Download Aadhaar“.
  • Step 2: Enter 12 digit Aadhaar number and captcha code.
  • Step 3: An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter it and click “Verify and Download”.
  • Step 4: Download-aadhaar pdf password protected (your PIN code by default).

Aadhaar Can Be Downloaded If You Have An Enrolment ID.

  • Step 1: Open the UIDAI page and click on Download Aadhaar under My Aadhaar.
  • Step 2: Choose the Enrolment ID option.
  • Step 3: Input the 28-digit Enrolment ID with the date and time, as indicated on your enrolment slip, and fill in the captcha code.
  • Step 4: Your e-Aadhaar will be available for downloading after your OTP verification on the mobile. It will be password protected.

How to Update Your Aadhaar Card Online

  • Step 1: Visit UIDAI Self-Service Update Portal to login.
  • Step 2: Enter Aadhaar number, enter captcha, and enter OTP (will be sent to your registered mobile).
  • Step 3: Choose the type “Address Update” and click on Proceed to Update Aadhaar.
  • Step 4: Enter your new address carefully, upload address proof, in PDF/JPEG form of not more than 2MB, and submit.
  • Step 5 Review the details and then finish the process. You will be assigned an Update Request Number (URN) to keep track of your status.
